Kristel Pickford, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings over a decade of clinical experience, at renowned institutions, to Talk Tribeca. Her integrative and compassionate approach is rooted in the belief that mental and physical wellness are deeply interconnected. She is licensed in NY and NJ.
At Talk Tribeca, Kristel provides comprehensive psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults, treating a wide range of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment disorders. She partners closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that integrate thoughtful medication management, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions tailored to their goals and stage of life. Kristel specializes in reproductive psychiatry, providing evidence-based care for women experiencing mental health concerns related to hormonal changes, including PMDD, PCOS/PMOS infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. She is Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International and remains active in several professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Postpartum Support International.
