Megan Mufson

Megan Mufson, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her graduate training at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. She provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults, combining expert psychopharmacology with psychotherapy-informed treatment to help patients achieve lasting emotional wellness. She is licensed in NY and FL.

Her clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and personality disorders. Prior to joining Talk Tribeca, Megan worked at UF Health Shands Psychiatric Hospital and completed advanced clinical training in community mental health and child and adolescent psychiatry, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and trauma-informed care across diverse patient populations. Megan brings an engaging, approachable style to patient care and believes that meaningful healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. She takes an eclectic, evidence-based approach to medication management that incorporates principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each patient’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.

Megan has extensive experience working with youth and families and has volunteered with organizations dedicated to mental health education, domestic violence prevention, and maternal wellness. Her warm, collaborative, and patient-centered approach fosters an environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their care. She is committed to helping individuals build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life.

Outside of the office, Megan enjoys spending time exploring NYC, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to expand her knowledge through ongoing education so she can provide the highest quality, evidence-based care to her patients.
